The Anti-Racism Team of the Gateway District has planned a FREE field trip tour/ event: “Tracing Native American Heritage”.
Meet us at the Lumberton Courthouse at 8:45 am
· We will be briefed about the tour/ event at the Confederate Statue there.
· We will then travel to the Tribal Office in Pembroke for a tour of the Tribal Office
· Then on to a tour of the Old Main Museum.
· From there, we will stop at the Eagle Feather Arts shop in Pembroke and view some of the artifacts and historical books in the store.
· We plan to complete this tour at Prospect United Methodist Church, where we will enjoy lunch together provided by Prospect members.
